1. Attach the needle to the clean syringe by pushing the end of the syringe into
the needle and turning the syringe clockwise.

2. When extracting ink from the bottles,do not remove the seal that covers the
bottle opening. Instead, use the needle to punch through the seal and draw the
ink into the syringe through the hole. This will reduce the mess if the bottle tips
over.

3. Always have paper towels ready to wipe off excess ink or clean up spills.

4. Always inject the ink into the cartridge very slowly (10 to 20 seconds per ml) to
prevent air bubbles from getting caught in the cartridge, which may keep the
refilled cartridge from working.

5. Handle cartridges with care and do not overfill them. The more careful you are,
the more times you can refill the same cartridge. Most cartridges can be refilled
between 3 and 5 times before replacement is necessary.

6. For best results, try to refill your cartridges before they are empty.
